barSWINGona festival is run by the barSWINGona team.

Since the beginning it has been our purpose to share our passion and love for swing dancing and music with people from Barcelona and the rest of the world.

The barSWINGona team is made up of Barcelona lindy hoppers and also some hoppers from other communities that are working as hard as we can to make barSWINGona an unforgetable swing event for you.

The team also counts on the help of

  • some volonteers (that help just because they like the festival),
  • some alt-i-allo (that work in exchange of free registration to some events), and
  • the support of the enthusiastic Barcelona lindy hoppers.

If you want to help us, we always need a hand.

barSWINGona is a not-for profit event although the budget has been consistently increasing every year. Some years the festival did quite well whereas some others it did not and needed some private support to survive. We hope to even it up on the long run. We're strugling to get public suport and private sponsors aswell with just minor successes so far.
