- FESTIVAL official dates are March 20th, 21th, 22nd and 23th, 2008,
however some minor events are

dance tracks: LINDY HOP, BALBOA ORIGINAL JAZZ. So we offer Balboa
and Jazz for thefirst time ! This year barSWINGona does not offer
Boogie workshops.

DANCE CONTEST: 5th
edition of the
|
Spectacular TEAMs contest
with amazing CASH prizes
- DESCRIPTION: It is a dance formation teams contest of swing style.
- NORMS:
- A team is a minimum of 3 couples.
- The team can dance any coreography and music based on swing music and
dance.
- The dance must be no longer than 5 minutes.
- No constraints on the attrezzo.
- Each team will have an assigned rehearsal time of 15 minutes at the
contest hall.
- JURY: 4 internacional lindy hop teachers or judges + 1
professional non-swing dancer + 1 member from the show business + 1 membre
del BSF'08 team.
- DATES:
- Semifinals (if needed) Friday, March 21th 2008 at the
Casino Hall, during the party.
- Final: Saturday, March 22th 2008, at the Casino Hall during
the party.
- The winner will be asked to perform on sunday march 23th
evening.
- CASH PRIZES:
- Winner team: 1000 €
- 2nd team: 500 €
- 3rd team: 250 €
- REGISTRATION
- FEES: None*.
- DEADLINE: March 1st 2008.
Jack & Jill contest
- DESCRIPTION: You just dance lindy hop to the partner
randomly assigned to you ;-)
- JURY: Some of the festival teachers.
- DATES: To be announced.
- CASH PRIZES: No cash prizzes here. You compet for the fun
of it.
- REGISTRATION
- FEES: None*.
- DEADLINE: Right before the contest.
* Participants must only puchase the standard party ticket.

- SECTIONS:
- Lindy hop:
- Sylvia Sykes (USA) & Skye (USA) by special demand of
both of them.
- Skye will also teach some classes with Nina (USA).
- Hanna (Sweden) & Mattias (Sweden).
- Nick Williams (USA) will teach with Nina (USA) and with
Laia (Cat).
- Balboa:
- Sylvia Sykes (USA) & Nick Williams (USA).
- AnneHelene & Bernard (França).
- Lluís (Catalonia, Spain).
- Original Jazz (special for followers):
- Nina (USA).
- Hanna (Sweden).
- LEVELS:
- Begginers.
- Improvers (more than 3 months, you must know the basics).
- InterMediate (more than 1,5 years).
- Advanced (more than 3 years).
- Advanced Plus (you must pass an audition).
- HOURS:
- Registration to the workshop guarantees you 9 hours of classes
of you dance speciality with top of
the line masters plus few open classes.
- Therefore you'll get each top teacher couple once a day during 3 days.
That the teachers to work with the class throughout the weekend and build their
dance concepts and goals.
- Optimal SCHEDULE:
- If you take one division you'll have free time either morning or afternoon.
- You can take two divisions (if you'r body can make it
;-).
- If you cannot take the 3 days there are one-day passes
available.

- 3000m2 of a wall-to-wall hardwood floor in a new SPORTS facility
with:
- 2 huge hardwood courts
- 2 medium hardwood classrooms with mirrors
