STATUS = Right now registration is now OPEN.
However some TRACKS are already close: check the status section.
If you register for them you'll be put in the waiting list.

Before registering

Make sure you have a clear idea about:

  • Your partner name if you have any.
  • Your group name if you belong to any
  • The track (lindy or boogie) that you want to register to
  • The level you believe should register to.

REGISTRATION TERMS

Partners, groups, payments, cancelations and all that jazz.
Partner Policy
We would like to have groups where the number of leaders and follooowers is as balanced as possible.

We'll do our best The minimum ratio leaders/followers in each group is 0.83.

In order to keep this ratio we follow the following partner policy:

  • Registrations with partner are directly accepted as long as the level is not sold out.
  • Registrations without partner are put on hold in a waiting list until the ratio allows to accept them. At that moment a notice is sent by email. Paying the fees does not imply to be accepted.

 

Group Policy

barSWINGona allow people from the same city and sorrounding area to register as a group a get a nice discount. That's what we call a BSF-group.

Please check the GROUPS section in the PEOPLE section to know the terms and procedures for this.

 

Levels Policy

We would like to have everybody registered in the right level.

To guarantee that, the organizers keep the right of promoting or demoting any dancer who is not their right level according to the masters opinioin.

We'll ask the teachers for suggestions about promotion and demotion of the dancers in the first classes. Also, we'll offer auditions for promoting to higher levels.

 

Payment Policy

  • Payments are done in euros.

  • Registration desk payments are made in cash. We cannot accept credits cards or checks. Sorry.

  • Dancers residents of the eurozone must make  a deposit advanced payment for their registration to be hold (see the PAYMENT details below).

 

Cancelation Policy

Please, please, please, in case you need to cancel you registration, let us know as soon as possible.

The deposit will be fully refunded if the notice is received before the early registration date. After that date, the deposit is lost.

 

 

Procedure

These are the steps to follow.

Step 1: FILLING THE REGISTRATION FORM.

Fill the registration form and send it:

  • You'll receive an automatic answer, inmediately.
  • During the next weekend, you'll
    • either receive a confirmation that you're pre-registered with the details of your registration and the steps to follow. It will include the total amount to pay. Please print it out and bring it with you to the festival.
    • or you'll be informed that you are in waiting list.

 

Step 2: DEPOSIT PAYMENT.

If you are a eurozone resident you have 5 working days to pay a deposit fee of 40 €:

  • You can do the payment either
    1. in cash at balliball studio desk,
    2. via PAYPAL at no extra charge!  (see details in the PAYMENT section below).
    3. via money transfer (see details in the PAYMENT section below).
  • At the moment we receive the deposit your are registered. The date of the money transfer determines whether the registration is early bird or late.
  • If we do not receive the deposit your pre-registration is cancelled.

if you are NOT euro zone resident you can pay the whole amount at the barSWINGona registration desk.

 

Step 3: PAYMENT and barSWINGbag PICK UP.
Come to the barSWINGona registration desk on thursday afternoon at the Casino l'Aliança del Poblenou. There
  • You pay the rest of your registration fees in cash (euros please).
  • You'll get all the barSWINGona bag with badges and all festival relevant infos.
